Nutralin® is a specialized soft chewable supplement designed for diabetic dogs to support normal blood sugar levels and meet their fatty acid needs.

• It’s veterinarian-recommended, made in the USA since 2008, and patented for use with diabetic dogs.

• The product uses GRAS (generally recognized as safe) ingredients, is never cooked to preserve nutritional potency, and requires no refrigeration.

• Manufactured by a member of ANSA and NASC, it’s tailored for diabetic dogs, who often have dental issues, making the soft chewable form ideal.

Purpose:

Supports blood sugar regulation and fatty acid needs in diabetic dogs.

Administration: Given twice daily after insulin injections, with dosage based on dog weight:

8-25 lbs (3.6-11 kg): 1 chewable, twice daily.

26-50 lbs (12-22.7 kg): 2 chewables, twice daily.

51-99 lbs (23-44.9 kg): 3 chewables, twice daily.

Monitoring:

• Use under veterinary supervision with a blood glucose monitoring kit.

o Watch for hypoglycemia signs (e.g., weakness, seizures, lethargy) and treat immediately with oral glucose if needed.

• Effectiveness Indicators: Blood glucose levels of 80-120 mg/dL at the insulin cycle midpoint (e.g., 6 hours for a 12-hour cycle).

• Reduced symptoms like excessive hunger (polyphagia), thirst (polydipsia), or urination (polyuria).

• Improved weight, energy, skin, and coat health.

Warnings:

• For dogs only; do not feed to cats.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Discontinuing Nutralin® may cause hyperglycemia or other serious conditions.

Good product but not for every dog

I recieved the product hoping this would be great for my diabetic dog. My dog also has ibs but thought it would work.it did not. Im not a fan of polyethylene glycol, and corn starch . The corn starch is not good for her tummy plus it spiked her blood sugar after giving it to her.
My vet who read the ingredients specifically said no not a good mix . Wish there was a refund policy on stuff but its lesson learned

I cannot say enough positive things about this product! It truly helped my diabetic dog. I saw an ad for the product when I was down and out when my dog was diagnosed with diabetes. I believe things happen for a reason. I happened to be reading an article in the magazine, mysterious ways and I was hooked and I’m so glad that I made the purchase! We have been using it now for two years. We have even decreased it from when chewable twice a day to half a chewable twice a day . This product combined with the insulin has made coping with diabetes so much much easier. My little Yorkie is doing great!

Our elder Siberian lived with diabetes for two and a half years (very sadly, she passed away this week). We had so much difficulty getting her glucose regulated and when we added Nutralin, her sugar levels immediately leveled out. I am confident that this product added not only quality to her life, but added time to her remaining years.

I am grateful we found Nutralin and would recommend it without reservation.
My 15 year old Maltese looks forward to his treat immediately after the insulin shot.

3 years ago when we discovered nini our Maltese was diabetic, we were devastated. The journey of discovery with the right dosage was dreadful & took few months. After ordering many products & failing I found Nutralin. I feed my dog 3 times a day, breakfast & dinner is full course & immediately after he receives the insulin & half of the vitamin. We skip lunch because he can only have 1 a day based on his weight. His insulin is at 2.5 ml twice daily. His weigh is 8-9 pounds. Nutralin has really helped with maintaining his glucose levels steady. Nini looks forward to it every time.

In December of 2022 our 2 year old Italian greyhound was diagnosed with diabetes. We couldn’t get his sugar levels under control and 3 weeks later he was down to under 10 lbs and hours away from passing due to DKA. It wasn’t until our friend informed us about Vinny, his owners, and Nutralin through a Google search. We are all the way in Toronto but were willing to try anything! Well, it’s June 2023 now and our boy Clyde has gained over 3 lbs. He’s looking so healthy and he’s his playful self again. We even lowered his insulin dosage. We are eternally grateful for this product, thank you!

Toby was diagnosed with diabetes in February 2019. Shortly thereafter we started him on the Nutralin. He looked forward to the treat which was about the only one he got. Although at times his BG was not the best number he never had excessive thirst or urination. You would not really know he was diabetic. Unfortunately, he had a heart murmur and we recently learned he had other heart issues. Toby passed last Sunday, May 14 at the age of 14 and over 4 years diabetic. Thank you for the treats he could enjoy. We passed the leftover treats onto another diabetic dog. Hope they like him as much as Toby!
A significant improvement

Our elder dog is a Siberian Husky with diabetes. We had difficulty regulating her sugar for months. Her glucose levels stabilized almost immediately with the addition of Nutralin. She's been taking the product for nearly two years and still enjoys the flavor.

I am grateful to have found Nutralin because I think it has helped our beautiful dog to live well despite her diabetes.

Toby was diagnosed diabetic February 2019. He started on Nutralin shortly thereafter. Although it took awhile to get him regulated, I believe he has remained without issues because if the Nutralin. He also has a heart murmur but no major problems.

Toby has been eating these since diagnosed February 2019. He doesn't get tired of them like other treats and is one of the few he can eat. My only complaint is they are crumbly! He carries them into other rooms to eat and being a small dog breaks them to eat. Note sure what the answer is to this. Also, a shorter more rounded container might help with breakage in storage. Otherwise it would be 5 star.
